  Duties Description:

   Aviation Plans, Training and Doctrine Analyst serving as the principal assistant to the Division Chief reporting to the Director, Army Aviation for HQDA DCS G-3/5/7. Synchronizes Aviation initiatives and Army, Joint, and Congressional strategic messaging to support integrated Army Aviation policies, programs, and plans for HQDA in support of the Total Army Force.   Duties Description:

  Serves as the Initiatives and Integration Chief and a Joint and Defense Affairs Planner for the HQDA DCS G-357 consisting of seven directorates and five supporting agencies. Primarily responsible for the management of all OSD and Joint Staff actions and task integration and multi-functional planning across G-357. Support the SecArmy, CSA, USA, VCSA, DCS, G-357 (OPSDEP) and ADCS, G-357 (DEPOPSDEP) in their Joint and Strategic defense roles and planning. Lead and coordinate collaborative efforts on select G-357 actions with ARSTAF, OSD, JS, ACOMs, ASCCs supporting G-357 Senior Leaders.   Duties Description:

  Serves as the Brigade Operations Officer for the 1AD Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division, consisting of four flight Battalions, an Aviation Support Battalion, and a Gray Eagle UAS Company. Primarily responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the operational employment of 2,158 Soldiers and 164 rotary wing aircraft in the execution of lift, MEDEVAC, and attack aviation operations supporting Operation Freedoms Sentinel (OFS). Provides counsel to United States Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A) in the execution of all combat aviation operations across the Combined Joint Operations Area Afghanistan (CJOA-A). Directly supervises 60 Soldiers in the Operations and Intelligence section responsible for the Brigades battle tracking and mission command functions. Advises the Brigade mission assurance elements consisting of Tactical Operations, Aviation Standardization, Master Gunner, Aviation Safety, and Information Operations. Responsible for maintaining readiness as a UH-60L/M AMC and pilot-in-command in all modes of flight.

  Duties Description:

  Operations Officer for the General Support Aviation Battalion supporting the 1st Armored Division. Responsible for the training, combat readiness, and employment of over 550 Soldiers, 8 UH-60L, 12 CH-47F, and 15 HH-60M aircraft within command aviation, heavy lift, aerial medical evacuation, aviation maintenance, forward support and air traffic services companies. Responsible for direct support to the Division Command Group and Fort Bliss Distinguished Visitor program. Responsible for managing an annual flying hour program of over 4,000 hours while planning, resourcing, and executing air assault, air movement, aerial medical evacuation and air traffic control missions in support of maneuver forces conducting decisive action operations. Establishes battalion systems and programs that develop leaders of character, train competent aviators and execute rigorous logistics programs sustainable in austere environments. Teach, coach, mentor and supervise a staff consisting of 5 Officers, 6 NCOs and 1 Soldiers. Create a climate that supports the Army's SHARP and EO programs.

  Executive Officer and Chief of Staff responsible for resourcing, training, and administration for 3-6 Cavalry Regiment, 1st AD CAB, Fort Bliss, TX. Direct, coordinate, train and supervise the squadron staff during current and future operations ultimately resulting in synchronization of maintenance, operations and logistics. Responsible for the timely preparation and issue of plans and orders, assignment of specific staff responsibilities and ensuring completion of staff actions and estimates to enable 6 subordinate company commanders; additionally responsible for the tactical, technical, and professional development of 10 Officers, 3 Warrant Officers, 16 Non-commissioned Officers, and 30 Enlisted Soldiers. Oversee a consolidated property book valued in excess of $1 billion and the maintenance and sustainment of 400 Soldiers and 180 ground vehicles and associated equipment in order to ensure combat readiness. Provide necessary mission command to the Squadron in the absence of the commander. Maintain flight proficiency as a UH-60L Day/Night/NVG Pilot-in-Command and AMC.
