Work Experience:

I'm Jared MosesFreeman, I completed my first combat deployment to Iraq in 2007 with the Minnesota Army National Guard. Until that time I was what many describe as a “weekend warrior,” meaning I had a career in operations management outside the military and spent one weekend per month in my army boots. While I had always been proud of my service to my nation, after that 22-month deployment I recognized that my real passion lay with the military. After I returned in 2007, I adjusted my commitment from weekend warrior to full-time Active Guard Reserve Soldier. Since pursuing my career with the Minnesota Army National Guard I have thrived, being promoted ahead of my peers, taking on numerous leadership positions, and making challenging decisions that affect hundreds. I also aspire to command a battalion of 1,200 soldiers and be promoted from major to lieutenant colonel. Finally, I hope to continue to be supportive to my wife, Andrea, and children, John, Lia, and Grace, as they have stood by me throughout my multiple deployments.

    Duties Description:
    Supervises direct support and general support Automatic Data Processing maintenance activities; supervises maintenance activities in an independent detachment or team supporting ADP center; supervises periodic and emergency maintenance; diagnoses and evaluates complex malfunctions; determines extent of major malfunctions, length of time, tools, and parts required to perform repair; provides technical guidance to maintenance and staff personnel; evaluates quality of maintenance work; instructs personnel in operating and maintenance procedures; corrects faulty work practices.

    Role Description:

    My long-term career goals include obtaining the rank of brigadier general and graduating from the United States Army War College in june of 2010. After I retire from the military, I aspire to work in operations management in corporate America, utilizing the knowledge I gain through the CEMBA program and the network I create within my cohort to realize that goal.
